SuperMap iPortal 10i currently provides 32-bit and 64-bit decompressed packages (with .zip extensions) , and this form of distribution makes users to use on Windows systems.
SuperMap iPortal does not require any installation configuration to meet your trial needs. If you use iPortal in a real production environment, it is recommended that you perform the following optional installation configurations depending on your business needs.
After unpacking, in the [SuperMap iPortal product directory] / bin directory, you will see the startup file startup.bat of the iPortal service. You can double-click the run.
If the SuperMap iPortal product directory is under the operating system disk (C drive), the service startup fails because the operating system's authority can not be written to the log file. You need to run startup.bat as an administrator. When the operation is specific, it is opened as an administrator cmd.exe(Administrator: command prompt), switch the path to【SuperMap iPortal product list】/bin, run startup.bat as follows:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>cd /d C:\Program Files\supermap_iportal_711_win64_zip\bin
C:\Program Files\supermap_iportal_711_win64_zip\bin>startup.bat
Only when the user does not want to use SuperMap iPortal 10i comes with JRE (Java Runtime Environment), it needs to manually configure. SuperMap iPortal 10i defaults to the JRE that comes with the package (located in the% SuperMap iPortal _HOME% / support directory).
Manual configuration before, you need to rename or delete the jre directory in the% SuperMap iPortal _HOME% / support directory.
JRE (1.8 or later) sets the environment variables as follows:
Advanced users can also customize JREs by directly modifying% SuperMap iPortal_HOME% / bin / setenv.bat.
Stop the iPortal service, you can directly remove the SuperMap iPortal 10i extract directory.
